In this paper, we study the Vlasov–Poisson system in an accelerating cosmological setting. A homogeneous and isotropic background solution, which describes an expanding universe in an acceleration, is constructed explicitly, and then its perturbed solutions are investigated to obtain global existence of classical solutions and the uniform L1-stability estimates.
